چکیده
This paper analyzes the complex relationships of factors influencing rangeland governance in arid areas. A Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) model was developed a participatory way to illustrate and assess weight combination environmental, social institutional enabling achievement strengthened at local level. The applied Tataouine situated south Tunisia. diagram built most important interactions between socioecological system components. Then, BBN for predictive purpose, by inserting evidence conditional probabilities on frequent land tenure systems region, thus exploring pathways improve under each these systems. Results show that overall improvement study area is highly related type system, performances farmers organizations, clarification boundaries neighboring rangelands, diversification production place including other agricultural activities addition pastoralism. Pastoral areas with characterized combined grazing private collective rangelands were revealed be constraining successful governance. However, even such set attributes, especially relation empowerment organizations can help improving

متن کاملParticipatory land use modelling, pathways to an integrated approach
The increasing adoption of land use models in planning and policy development highlights the need for an integrated approach that combines analytical modelling techniques with discursive ‘soft-science’ methodologies. Recent scientific contributions to the discipline have tended to focus on analytical problems such as statistical assessment of model goodness of fit through map comparison techniq...
متن کاملEvolutionary Bayesian Belief Networks for Participatory Water Resources Management under Uncertainty
A participatory integrated (social, economic, environmental) approach based on causal loop diagram, Bayesian belief networks and evolutionary multiobjective optimisation is proposed for efficient water resources management. The proposed methodology incorporates all the conflicting objectives in the decision making process. Causal loop diagram allows a range of different factors to be considered...
